At the dentist

Things you don't want to hear your dentist say as he's working on reconstructing a tooth that chipped:

"Oh, that's not good."

"I messed that up. My fault."

And yet I survived! And have had no pain! I'll probably have to have a crown or root canal and some gum surgery since the gum grew over the tooth until I could get to the dentist. But he said I could wait until January, unless I have any difficulties.
