Preschool I Kids

I decided to teach a preschool Sunday school class, and Preschool I was the only class available. Our first week was September 11th and we (I'm teaching with Krista) had three 1 and a half year olds! It's going to be an experience! Their attention span for the lesson is about 1.5 minutes! Last Sunday, we had 4 kids!

My Little Buddy, Austin

"Can I stay over at your house?" That's the question Austin asks almost every time I see him! I don't get to say 'yes' very often because of previous plans, etc., but when he asked on September 10th, I said 'yes!' We went to Caleb's first soccer game then I had to drop him off at the mall where his Mom, Grandma, Ashley, and Andrew were because I had dinner plans with a friend. He didn't like it that I had to drop him off for a while! When I picked him up, we (Vickie, Ashley, Andrew, Austin, and I) decided to go to dinner first. Austin was excited to come to my house - he didn't want to go in his house after we dropped off Vickie and his siblings!

Here's Austin getting a bath on Saturday night.

"Good morning, Sleepyhead!"

Having breakfast before going to Sunday School.

I played my regular monthly night of Bunko this evening with 11 other ladies. And, as usual, I donated my $5.00! There was a 3-way tie between myself and two others for second most wins, so we had a roll-off. I did not win! Oh well, it's always a fun evening of food and fellowship! There's always next month. Hehehe

Caleb's First Soccer Game!

Caleb played his first soccer game this afternoon! Even though his team, the Sharks, lost to the Gators (5-7), they all played a great game! Caleb is # 11.

Back to School Breakfast

This morning, C&T Baptist Church where I attend had a Back to School Breakfast. Andrew, Austin, Ashley, Vickie, and I went. We had eggs, bacon, pancakes, cereal, fruit, juice, and coffee for breakfast. Then the kids made some school related crafts. After that, the boys played on the playground for a while. It was a fun morning!

Me, Camping?????!

Caleb got this fire started! :::applause::: He's a Cub Scout! Can you tell?!
Caleb jumps in the swimming pool! It was COLD!

Caleb checks to see if the steaks are done.

Can you believe it??!! I went camping this weekend! Corie and Caleb went camping on Friday and plan to stay until tomorrow (Monday). Mom and I went last night and surprised them! We stayed in a tent, and fortunately, Corie had an extra air mattress for us to use! Corie made mountain pies and we cooked them over the fire last night. For breakfast this morning, Mom made eggs, english muffins, ham, and scrapple. It tasted yummy out in the wilderness! Caleb and I went swimming in the early afternoon while Mom and Corie went to Wal-Mart. After we returned, we made steaks over the fire and Mom also brought corn on the cob and salad. After we cleaned up from a late lunch, we relaxed for a little bit, then Mom and I headed for home around 5:30. We're planning to go again over Columbus Day Weekend!! I had fun!
