Show and Tell Friday

It's been a while since I participated in Kelli's Show and Tell Friday.
I've been cleaning out and organzing and came across these books from my childhood that Mom saved for me!
The first is a Noah's Ark book.
It was given to me by my second cousins, Steve and Dennis, for Christmas 1966. I was a year and 5 days old! Steve and Dennis have three other siblings - Renee', Leslee, and Eric - all older than me. I wonder if they got me something else for Christmas that year?! LOL The book is in good shape!

These 3 books are still in good shape, too. I'm so glad to have all of them. I need to figure out a way to display them and any additional books I may 'find' as I'm cleaning out and organizing!

Thanks for looking at my Show and Tell! Be sure to head over to Kelli's to see all the other participants' Show and Tell goodies!

I do love old books, especially children's books. Yours look a little sweeter than the one I posted a couple of weeks ago. At least yours didn't give you nightmares like "Der Struwwelpeter" did me! Ha Ha!

Boy, What surprise-- I have not seen those books since childhood. The Gingerbreadman, Goldilocks, The Three Little Pigs - Mom read them to us all the time. They were exactly the same ones!!!! Brings back memories! I think ours got donated to the local library, but not sure, too much water under the bridge! Thanks for sharing!

I really wish I hadn't taken so many of my kids' books to the Goodwill. :(
